Metacognitive Analysis
Metacognitive Analysis
Whenever we quote someone else's words in
our writings, we must acknowledge the author. In first place, to avoid
plagiarism. In second place, because is a matter of honesty and respect towards
the author. Third, because it shows your reader that you are using
real sources that they can check on if they wish. And last, it shows the research you have done. Wich means that you are not only relying on your opinions or beliefs but you are also supporting them with facts, studies, etc; making your writing more credible.
I believe that we, as teacher, should
teach our students the importance and value of correctly citing sources.
