Power Point, specifically, is a great tool to use when summarizing. The slides display is perfect to help you focus only on the important and central ideas. It is also a great tool to use in the classroom to give instructions or information in  a more interactive way. PP can be use for teacher to introduce new topics (a great way to caught students attention and generate engagement) or as a platform for students to use for assignments.
