Metacognitive analysis

The topic that caught almost all of my attention of this entry was genre. I realized that it was a topic that was hardly even mention in my English lessons at school. I became more aware of genre at the profesorado. While reading the texts and watching the videos from this entry I was able to notice how much easier a genre and function focused approach could be for students. Perhaps the word is not precisely easier but, actually, more functional for communicative purposes. I consider all the material very informative, but I would have liked it to provide more clear examples of how to implement the genre-based model of language at the classroom.

    Hello Agostina, On the one hand, I think your entry is clear and complete. Besides, your SlideShare is well organized, and it also summarizes all the SFL concepts. On the other hand, you have created a good google form because it includes all the information about Systemic Functional. Congratulation, you did it great.
